my mother’s job ruined my life to begin with. heartbreaking that she continues to go down that path after years of watching her children suffer. selfish. it’s all about money and fame, ladies and gentlemen.

I don’t agree with your mother politically, Claudia, but she’s still your mom. I promise you your life ahead will be better if you handle your issues with her privately. I’m sure she’d go to counseling with you, if you don’t already. Love has got to trump politics. It just has to

This isn’t your business, concern yourself with yourself.

“she’s still your mom” comes from the same logic vault that produced “a man cannot rape his wife.” Abuse is abuse, trauma is trauma, and some mothers are worth escaping.
Do not gaslight this child with patronizing BS.
No. No. No. Never your place to say this. You have not and cannot walk in her shoes. 1. You have NO idea what goes on behind closed doors. 2. NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS.
And maybe it can when the evil shit that the Republicans come up with isn’t acceptable politics anymore.
She’s still her mom?! Mothers can be narcissistic abusers too. Knock it off with the invalidating and condescending attitude. Shining a light on abuse and going public about it is sometimes all kids have. Go read up on CPTSD and the damage it can do before running your mouth.
Nobody asked you

What does "she's still your mom" mean? It sounds like you are suggesting moms should have some special license to be abusive.
