I agree with you that she and her mom should going to counsel together before giving it up. If there is anyone that can fundamentally change her mom, it has to be someone she truly cares (I assume).

Why would you use your platform to tell a 15 year old girl to be quiet about her abuse claim? If you disagree with people using her claim for political reasons, then direct your responses at them — *never* at the potential victim.
