Please pay attention to Portland right now. Proud boys and other far-right people are macing, swinging pipes, shooting paint balls, and generally attacking Black Lives Matter protesters. And police, who declare a riot when BLM protests every night, are letting it happen.

We have two opposing teams with uniforms, and now I hear a cheering section and a band. Police are referees, but they only whistle the serious fouls. This is a sport.

The Proud Boys routinely waited outside gay bars before the pandemic, beating patrons as soon as they were outside. It's well known in the community here that it's not safe to travel alone at night if you want to avoid be assaulted.
