Politicians say they’ll create jobs. But I’ve known many who feel “Give me a good education, give me free healthcare and a decent shot in this economy - I’ll create my own damn career.” People should have more than jobs; they should have real opportunity for self-actualization.

Self-actualization is what we all need. But those in power are against it. If the general populace lives fulfilling lives, the ppl in power will not br able to abuse, steal, manipulate etc.

self-actualization contradicts a fundamental aspect of capitalism: readily exploitable labor; people who feel a gun pointed at their head. Jobs that rich people are unwilling to do can be managed in a much better way than expecting the desperate impoverished to do them.

President Trump is the only President that has ever signed the front of people’s paychecks.

A lot of people these days have the education to start their own businesses...but they're too busy trying to survive.
it seems to me that marianne's abiding message has been: do good things for the people. *that* was spooky? if that's spooky then i'm 100 percent pro-spooky. #marianne2024
