1 of my fave things about the past 4 years is that ppl who aren't used to being shut out of the political process got a taste of what it's like for the working class under neolibs. And they're freaking out like Trump is the worst ever, but all they offer us is more neoliberalism.

People seem to be confusing necessity with sufficiency. Yes, it’s necessary to defeat Trump, but we need to do much more than that if we’re to avoid the worst effects of runaway climate change, increasingly severe pandemics, and the worldwide drift away from democracy.
