Watching the #DemConvention. It’s so good to see so many diverse people coming together addressing racism and the promise of America. There is a sweetness and kindliness about this production.

No I’m sorry but they did not address racism. They showed a lot of beautiful pictures of POC and made references to BLM, but there was not one mention of an actual policy to help end systemic racism. It’s like binge watching a Marriott commercial.

I was asked who my first call would be & I said Jacinda Adern. She’d said that she wants to NZ to be the best place in the world for a child to grow up and I wanted to say to her “Girlfriend you’re on” because I want America to be that too. You know what? I was right.

Yes, you were right and people who weren't tuned in to Adern didn't get it (and apparently some of us are still catching up a year later) but I thought you were dynamite at both debates, and you've been dynamite ever since!
