Watching the #DemConvention. It’s so good to see so many diverse people coming together addressing racism and the promise of America. There is a sweetness and kindliness about this production.

Replying to @MarkRuffalo
No I’m sorry but they did not address racism. They showed a lot of beautiful pictures of POC and made references to BLM, but there was not one mention of an actual policy to help end systemic racism. It’s like binge watching a Marriott commercial.

Of course they didn’t. It’s superficial, like it always is. It’s all about the optics and sound bites.
Marianne your big idea when you had the chance to share it was inviting the prime minister of New Zealand to the US and telling everyone to love each other so maybe slow your roll on the armchair policy wonking mmkay
how do you put an end to an old, outdated, disproven, fear mongering, race bating talking point?! pbs.twimg.com/media/DdEcffTV…
Then don't watch it. You wasted enough of America's time with your shit.
How would you have accomplished addressing this problem that would actually stand any chance of being accepted by both sides? I don't think either side has a coherent plan that would work in a unifying manner.
It's about beating Trump. Show solidarity. You are smarter than this.
WRONG Maryann. You're jealous because we are not nominating you.
Want to help racism? Start pushing the constitution. It makes us all equal regardless of skin color. (The literal opposite of the identity label-obsessed Democrats).
#BlackLivesMatter are black supremacist marxists with $Billions in funding. You think that will HELP racism? It'll make racial division far worse. Marxism will remove freedoms and destroy the economy. If white supremacy is bad, black supremacy is bad. WAKE UP.
