Watching the #DemConvention. It’s so good to see so many diverse people coming together addressing racism and the promise of America. There is a sweetness and kindliness about this production.

No I’m sorry but they did not address racism. They showed a lot of beautiful pictures of POC and made references to BLM, but there was not one mention of an actual policy to help end systemic racism. It’s like binge watching a Marriott commercial.

seriously if you thought it was a snoozefest imagine how many people who would have tuned out policy discussion. The problems are important but a vitual convention makes it hard to keep people's attention on them. The first day worked
