Republican Party has more elitist policies but an oddly more egalitarian relationship to its own constituency. Democratic Party has more egalitarian policies but an oddly more elitist relationship to its own constituency. I hope that changes over the next three to four days.

Sorry don’t agree. The Republican relationship to their constituency is a sham. They inherently despise them but just want their vote. Do you really think Trump wants any of those supporters who show up at his rallies to come to Bedminster or Mara-la-go? Hardly.

It already has changed. With their taxpayer-funded abortion for any reason at any stage platform, their policies are more elitist than what their constituents want.

I can’t find this Republicans frighten their constituents in order to control them. It’s profoundly disrespectful and uncaring. They are using them to get more money into their pockets.

They've had decades to change. I won't hold my breath over the next few days.
