Republican Party has more elitist policies but an oddly more egalitarian relationship to its own constituency. Democratic Party has more egalitarian policies but an oddly more elitist relationship to its own constituency. I hope that changes over the next three to four days.

I worked in a DC congressional office. Democrats tend to run their house offices like a corporation or business. Often times they make their staff assistants drive them around. Republicans would invite their interns over for family dinner and treat them like friends.

It won't. It never has. The only way it will happen is if we overturn Citizens United and get money out of politics. The truth is, the democrats need/love that gravy train as much as the GOP, but have to work harder to get their money. That's why they put money over people.

I hope it changes with a total collapse of this sbam 2 party system.

What egalitarian policies lmao 😆

Very astute observation! However, I do not see that changing over the next 3-4 days. It’s been going on for too long to change that quickly.

Elitists who gain power never become more democratic. It is almost a certainly that they will become tyrants.

Can you give an example of an "elitist" Republican policy?
