Thank you for the tweet. Many are on day 8 without power. The situation is getting better but people need to know just how bad it was/is here. hacap.org is usually a good place but there are many more groups helping.
Local orgs have been mobilizing best I've heard. Cedar Rapids BLM has been doing great work to provide food and supplies, donate link below
Almost a week on and most of my hometown is without power, many don’t have food or the resources they need.
If you can, please chip in to the local @ASJ_BLM. They’re providing free meals, supplies, and help to anyone who needs it.
