1/ When all of this is over - when we get the criminal out of the White House - we will begin a new conversation about this country, what it means to us and what it should mean for the world.

2/ Having come so close to the cliff, nearly losing something we had taken for granted was an eternal guarantee, we will be filled with a spirit of humility and thanksgiving that will reinvent the United States.

3/ We’ll have been humbled, which we desperately need; we’ll have been chastened, which we deserve to be; & our attitudes will be readjusted from ambition to inspiration, from goals of profit to goals of goodness. As profound as our descent, so profound will be our transformation
