2/ Having come so close to the cliff, nearly losing something we had taken for granted was an eternal guarantee, we will be filled with a spirit of humility and thanksgiving that will reinvent the United States.

3/ We’ll have been humbled, which we desperately need; we’ll have been chastened, which we deserve to be; & our attitudes will be readjusted from ambition to inspiration, from goals of profit to goals of goodness. As profound as our descent, so profound will be our transformation

Trump will win easily. Americans know he's kept us out of war, is the best for our economy, and recognize that Joe Biden has been a failure throughout his 45 years in office. We may not like his personality, but we're pretty happy with his policies.

Hope springs eternal, I appreciate yours and we all will need it, for what used to be a country filled of optimist they are now so down and out they've lost a lot of it. That said, do you see Biden/Harris to be transformational leaders?

If Democrats actually pull it off, they need to spend all 4 of the next years solidifying protections to disallow anyone who is wealthy from ever running for office, and to ensure that any of the crap Trump pulled will put any future president in prison immediately.

Oh please. "We" had that conversation with Obama, for eight years! Remember? All we have to do is get Bush out of office and then we can... The neolib Democrats are worse than the GOPers.
