Read this entire thread. If anyone knows the best way to get their medicine to these people, please let me know and let’s publicize it.
I’m a disabled combat veteran and I get my all my meds (a considerable amount) through the #USPS. I have asthma and I’m waiting on an inhaler. I can’t breathe. #USPSprotest

You’re the best, Marianne. Need to stick to keeping it about the people and getting them what they need. Practical solutions. Rather than shitty politics. Wish more politicians were like this

We need to do both! I founded nonprofit orgs & been a nonprofit activist for decades, but there comes a time when you have to do more than help the people who are living at the effect of bad policy. We also have to change the policy.

Hey @marwilliamson I think you will like this!
Kneeling during the National Anthem is an outrage, but stealing mail boxes is Patriotic? Got it.

Marianne, you should know that prescription medicines do not go through USPS sorting machines. So the removal of those machines has no effect. You should also know that medicines can be shipped weeks before you run out. If there’s a delay of two or three days… So what?

He could use UPS, Fedex, DHS any other carrier

VA needs to setup volunteer drug-runner system. Where volunteers hand deliver VA Rx to vets in urgent need. I stopped using VA meds. Transferred all my Rx to Walmart. At the time Walmart was cheaper. I think VA has lowered their co-pay for vets not homeless or poverty stricken.

He is not alone. My step father is also a veteran and has COPD. He ran out of albuterol. In the past, the VA has sent meds overnight when we ran out. That is an option. I wonder if we can get Veteran's choice to cover meds through the local CVS while we fight the USPS.
Hey @senatemajldr: here 👇 is a flood of horrendous testimony about real Americans suffering because Trump is intentionally delaying their medications by messing with @USPS. #Reconvene the Senate NOW and work with @SenSchumer @SpeakerPelosi to stop this criminal tragedy.

This is not a joke ... this is serious business ... Trump has already killed thousands because of his non-response to the Virus ... now he'll be adding more deaths ... do to the lack of on time deliveries of prescription drugs! ...
