Here’s the deal on the United States Postal Service: it’s just a bad business! Poorly run. Loses billions. If it were any other business it would have gone under by now. We need to make it more accountable not keep throwing money at it. #TrishIntel

The USPS ISN’T a business; it’s a service established in the Constitution. Article I, Section 8, Clause 7, known as the Postal Clause or the Postal Power, empowers Congress "To establish Post Offices and Post Roads.” It doesn’t exist to make money; it’s exists to serve the people

The constitution empowers congress to do many things. They skip plenty of them. The USPS has been poorly run for decades.

And, it doesn’t exist to serve as a ballot box.
Now that's some truth with a capital T, even when people like the OP don't want to hear it.

Marianne, if they really cared about USPS, wouldn't attack it, especially when the election is on the corner and USPS is a game-changer, They don't care, they are just afraid!

Your parsing words to get around the Truth. The Government is providing a good or service that the private sector can provide better, cheaper and more efficiently.
