1/ If our country were being invaded by foreign armies, we’d be throwing money at the Pentagon to help beat those forces back. But our country is being invaded by something more dangerous than that. We’ve been invaded by a consciousness of fascism.

2/ Fascism is the opposite of a free, democratic, self-governing society. It is a form of far-right, authoritarian ultranationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and the economy.

3/ Fascism in America is an assault on the very core of who we are as a nation. It is so much bigger than the insanity of just one man. How it emerged will be studied for many years into the future, but the role of our generation is to stand up to it right now.
