At what point do we admit to ourselves that only an insane society risks massive loss of life among its children in order to procure the ability to risk massive loss of life among their parents in order to avoid massive losses of money among those who don’t care about either one?

Yes, if you have money saved up, you can do safety for your children. However, if you did not save you risked the life of your kid. Those that spent their money on phones and clothes don't care about anyone.

I understand your point BUT isn't it time for the conversation? Covid19 is a virus & now part of the ecosystem.. a vaccine MAY work & MAY only work for half of those who get it.(flu shots 44%) Lives have been upended, suicides are rising, overdoses climbing,

Always liked Marianne. She has quite a bit of common sense.! It is evident most people lack this important life skill. She is the inner voice most people require to guide them for self preservation. I never realize how ignorant people were until Donnie fleeced the electorate!

Weird, because the homeless use no protection, generally have compromised immune systems, are malnourished, and often lacking what would be required amounts of sleep. They ride public transport and frequent convenience stores. They are not dropping dead, but the kids...
