Dems need to do some self-reflection now. It’s true Republicans vigorously perpetrate the corporatist agenda. But Dems too often try to ameliorate people’s suffering on the periphery, yet avoid challenging the underlying forces that make all that suffering inevitable.

Without jobs because Governors like Gavin Newsom deemed their job nonessential and closed the business they work at.

The solution is to get Federal assistance to people w/ low paying jobs. Provide an incentive to working, even minimum wage jobs, by offering payroll assistance through employers. Set up healthcare assistance to people working. As far as homes go, we need access to mental health.

I just got back from the hospital. They wanted $800 for an MRI. I declined, although my insurance premium is over $500 a month, I'm insured but kinda not.

Dems must self-reflect. Their history of addressing peoples' suffering on the side while watching Republicans pursue a corporate agenda lets them ignore the underlying causes of that suffering.
