We need @EdMarkey returned to the Senate. We don’t have enough in Congress involved with nuclear non-proliferation & it’s critical! We need to be a nation that acts proactively & preventatively - not just reactively experiencing tragic effects of inattention & prior distraction.

75 years ago, the US dropped an untested nuclear weapon over Hiroshima. 66,000 people died instantly. Thousands more faced the slow, silent killer of cancer and radiation poisoning. We must commit to nuclear nonproliferation and ensure an atrocity like this never happens again.

Thank you Marianne for endorsing Ed, and supporting his platform of nuclear disarmament.
Four years ago, I had the opportunity to meet with Ms. Keiko Ogura, a survivor of the Hiroshima atomic bomb. She recounted: “Hiroshima was a sea of fire” with charred, disfigured bodies littering the streets and weak cries for help echoing in the air. #Hiroshima75 #広島原爆の日
