When people ask why BLM protests matter (believe it or not some people do ask) tell them what Whitmer is doing in MI, what Minneapolis is doing with their police dept etc. The status quo will always seek to perpetuate itself; the only way to change it is for the people to step in

You're not helping their case. The black community and the vast majority of black people want cops in their areas. Specifically due to the insane amount of crime.

This is not about police or no police. Of course we need law enforcement. It’s about transforming police culture, particularly as it relates to an obvious pattern of violence towards Black people. And we should not just think of it as “their” cause.

It is time for a fundamental pattern disruption. The U.S. Government is not going to interrupt itself. The U.S. government represents the forces of the status quo. It is time for the people to step in.

More white unarmed people are killed by cops than black unarmed people and the cops engage with the black community way more often. BLM is predicated on a false narrative. It’s sad to watch pathetic people pander to them.

If you really want to make Black Lives Matter you’ll reform the schools good schooling would stop most of the problems the current education system is a failure we should try alternative types of schools to see what works

One advantage of Covid-19. People had time to really see many injustices and are not willing to let it stand.
