Today, I declared racism to be a public health crisis in Michigan and created the Black Leadership Advisory Council. #COVID19 has highlighted what Black & Brown communities have always known — inequities caused by systemic racism can be deadly. We’re confronting this head on.

Hope they talk about VitD and the role it plays in current crisis, especially in high risk groups (darker skin and elderly). Even Tyler Perry has been speaking about it.

I'd be more comfortable with a counsil named social justice advisory council. The reason being that there are many forms of bigotry and having 'black' there leaves out other repressed groups. #Unity2020 @ArticlesOfUnity articlesofunity.com
