So many suffering now. It's a shame they can't find it in their hearts to do the right thing by the people that have elected them. It's not just mean, it's evil to its core. But like you, I do believe their day will come. Karma has a way of visiting when they least expect it.

Compassion is doing the hard thing. It is better to provide the necessary tools to fill a need...than to just provide. Each of us must pick up the tools to become our best selves, build confidence & self respect. If I were a Dreamer, I would apply for citizenship & do the work.

Poetic. It’s called conservatism (modern style) and is explicitly based above all else on bad economics, common misinterpretations of opaque and misleading neoclassical welfare economics, that no one seems to have the will to correct. Greed is good, democracy bad, etc.
