Economics is the study of production, consumption & allocation of goods & services within a society.
These can be accomplished in inherently oppressive, alienating & environmentally destructive ways (capitalism).
Or they can be accomplished in humanitarian & fulfilling ways 1/6
Using economic rather than humanitarian principles to organize human society has brought us to where we are. It’s important for all of us to remember that, because on the other side of this we should commit to never making that mistake again.

To me an enlightened society can have elements of both capitalism & socialism. I don’t think either are perfect nor are either inherently evil. The problem is not economic but moral. 1)Feed the children. 2) Take care of the earth. 3)Prioritize justice and democracy. 4)Wage peace.
