We can’t always control what happens in life, but we’re in control of who we choose to be in the space of what’s happening. I recently heard someone say that we should all be a little bit kinder now. We need courage and strength but we also need love.

@marwilliamson I think those in positions of authority, and our system (profits over people) show so such little love that it makes people hard to do it themselves.

Definitely makes it more challenging, but in a way I think that’s the point - to model love when you see heartlessness modeled all around you. Otherwise we become that which we detest, and that would be their ultimate victory.
