Thank you. I agree. It gives me comfort -maybe comfort isn’t the word, but certainly inspiration - to look back at other times in our history that were as bad as this. Reading about our ancestors & how they moved through things- and triumphed - gives me courage and hope. 💖🙏🏻

“Them” refers to the times we live in. “Beautiful world” is one where we have turned the corner, pushed back authoritarianism, and created a sustainable, peaceful civilization for ourselves and our children’s children.

I needed that right now. After a beautiful sunrise...springing forth...I came to Twitter to find news. Horrific news, which is now the norm. How do people LIVE with news as it is portrayed? It’s not really news, it’s just awful shit around the globe.
