The best decision-making factor for whether or not a child goes back to school is a mother’s gut-check.

A mother’s gut-check is not shallow emotionality. It’s an instinctive survival system built up over millions of years of evolution.

And they are a lot of fantastic ones too.

THAT is what’s so wrong in America today. That woman should be receiving $2000 a month until this pandemic is over, allowing both her and the child to remain safely at home so we can get through this.

whether it's your gut or your intuition speaking (same thing, IMO), it's a knowing you listen to above all else. My non-mom's hella strong, live-my-life-by-it inner knowing says you are right.

Good thought but...What about fathers, do they have gut instincts about the wellbeing of their children too? What about those children who have no mother and are in the care of other relatives or carers? What about those mothers whose gut instincts aren’t to be relied upon?

i'll stick with the scientific and disease specialists recommendations who aren't silenced by political forces over anyones gut. mothers gut-check is what birthed the anti-vaxxer movement.

What about the adults who have to teach the children? Shouldn’t a mother value human life other than her own offspring??

I thought science was supposed to rule decisions
