I understand this sentiment, but I would hesitate to trust it fully. Fortunately, despite the administration's best efforts, we also have the full weight of scientific and medical establishments easily making the case against opening in person. We have the research.

My gut tells me no. I have a feeling school will end up shut down again and risk of infection aside, I don’t think going back for a short time only for school to close again will be good for the kids.

THAT is what’s so wrong in America today. That woman should be receiving $2000 a month until this pandemic is over, allowing both her and the child to remain safely at home so we can get through this.
