It's indicativs of how we feel about workers too. There will be an "acceptable" number of casualties for teachers, staff, and students. Gotta keep that stock market up. Disgusting.

We have been back at school in the Western Cape in South Africa for over a month and there are no cases in the Schools. In fact since we went back to school our curve has flattened and hospital admissions are on the decrease. Why is it a political issue in the US?

It is child abuse and it is being accessories to murder. We, the People, have gotten way too accustomed to and comfortable with murder and death as everyday occurrences. These are our laws and it is wise for us to acknowledge them and enforce them.

And so is making them wear masks... it's useless against covid, and lowers oxygen intake while increasing co2.. the science says so

I agree it's time to close all the government run schools, and let the parents have their tax money back, so they can make the best decisions on how to educate their children.

I think this problem is multifaceted. Parents depend on schools for childcare and food, while children may depend on it to escape an abusive home. It's being stuck between a rock and a hard place. Precautions must be taken to keep our children and teachers safe.
