So what’s it going to do to a child’s “mental health” for the rest of their life to realize they brought Covid home from school and it killed a parent or a grandparent or both? #DontBuyIt

I doubt children would think in those terms. At most, they may presume that the parents got the virus elsewhere or try to "rationalize" the case by telling oneself that the virus inevitably spread like wildfire and that preventing it was an impossibility.

Excellent point. I think that might actually get through to people. Please say that as loud as you can ❤️

That is one of the most rational things I have ever heard you say @marwilliamson.

How would you handle schools, Marianne? When would you open? Would you ever open again? If your option is to school from home virtually, how do you handle kids that don’t have internet access? What do you do about unmotivated kids that struggle in a normal school setting. Thx

It's a really hard balance. Mental health shouldn't be in quotations like that as if it's not a legitimate concern. There is no easy answer until we have a vaccine.

No child should be a sacrificial lamb for Trump’s economy and re-election bid.

Marianne I can’t go to bed, can you pray or meditate so I can fall asleep 😴, thank you

It would be devastating. Please note that psychologically injured people sometimes mentally dissociate from the cores of their being. This can make it easier for them to be manipulated for sexual or commercial purposes after their parents are dead.
