As a former classroom teacher of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders... I can attest to the efficiency of children spreading germs. They are interactive. That’s who they are! That’s what they do! Social distancing is not their thing!

Kids need to be exposed to illnesses to help build their immune systems.

Thank you for sharing this. Reopening schools next month is absolutely absurd and reckless. I've decided that my children will be distance learning. It won't be easy (I have 6 kiddos), but it will be worth it to protect my family. There are no do-overs.
Younger children who develop mild to moderate Covid-19 symptoms have 10 to 100 times as much of the virus in them as older children and adults … and when they cough, sneeze, or shout, they expel virus-laden droplets

This is true with disease in general. Instead of focusing on how to get everything « back to normal » we need to figure out how to make things better. Kids are always vectors of disease - let’s be smarter about that. Let’s not accept all the deaths from flu

We needed a study to know that children are little disease vectors?!?!

Shocking that young children, who have a tiny fraction of the discipline, patience, and brain development of an adult, spread a contagious disease more effectively.
Some things we have to learn the hard way. Wonder how many orphans we will have in a year.
