If teachers put the word out how we can support them now, I for one will do everything I can to help. They know what’s going on in our schools, what we should do & not do. America never really listens to our teachers (legacy of patriarchy) & we seriously need to listen now.

I'm a kindergarten teacher. I am ready to see my kids' faces! On Zoom, in person, hopefully both! I just need to get started. It's not going to be easy. We'll make some mistakes. Just knowing that the public is cheering me on is enough. 🙂

you obviously don't have children in school. today's teachers are tyrants who ignore parents' concerns while, simultaneously, demand parents pick up teachers' slack because they don't understand the material they're supposed to be teaching.

Marianne suggests people listen to and help teachers and everyone goes crazy with their replies?

Every district needs to double the custodial/support staff! No teens getting on buses before 8 a.m. Everyone gets a minimum of 3 day weekends every week. Double the number of subject choices and rebuild schools with flexible learning spaces - tear down unhealthy structures!

The urban areas like mine, Newark NJ are having the hardest time. Our community is more likely to do from this virus and our school are old and poorly maintained and ventilated. Do get me wrong the staff does great with the little they have but...it’s not safe and it’s not enough
