It’s an obvious question, but why aren’t the mayor of Portland and the governor of Oregon having a high-level televised meeting with social justice and Black leaders, making it a kind of statewide zoom Town Hall? It’s clearly not enough anymore to just say “We need to do better.”

Because they suck and they are MAGA Blue politicians. Portland's homeless is getting out of hand. Oregon has a history of no blacks allowed. Business owners are MAGA Red. Unemployment benefits denied to so many. They kicked out homeless and took their stuff. Vote Bule??

I don’t understand why we idolize or put politicians on pedestals... if I hire a contractor to do a job and they don’t show up or do something completely different than what I ask for, I fire them. Why is it so different with politics ? 😞

The Mayor of Portland is also the Police Chief who is a white supremacist. They have no plan to end this brutal system.

Gun violence in East Portland has increased dramatically. There is more poverty in East PDX and the citizens tend to get ignored.
