It’s an obvious question, but why aren’t the mayor of Portland and the governor of Oregon having a high-level televised meeting with social justice and Black leaders, making it a kind of statewide zoom Town Hall? It’s clearly not enough anymore to just say “We need to do better.”

But it's not obvious as to why other people need to be brought to the table? Social justice white liberal karens & BLM which is the same. So basically you leave the entire rest of the population of Portland + Oregon out of the equation. WE ARE SICK OF THEIR TERROR TACTICS. DONE!
Wonder why @tedwheeler & @KateBrownForOR don’t do exactly that? Call n ask. They might take your call. 🤷🏽‍♀️ The P union here is militant & belligerent.

Because these movements aren't about social justice they're about removing Donald Trump. Once that's done it'll go back to the quiet destruction of America as usual.

Twitter seems to create an environment where a great many responses to original posts are emotional & often off-topic rather than dialogues with the original poster. I admit I've done this myself. Why is this? Any thoughts? This is a real not a rhetorical question.

uhhh because democrats don’t know how to do anything useful? their role is to just sit by, go on tv once in a while, and make sure billionaires (and themselves) get lots of money as the nation and empire crumbles

The obvious answer is that it’s not about racially quality, it’s about rich powerful white liberals getting their way

I don’t think this country operates on the “let’s sit down and talk” theory. More about platitudes, promises and no action.

And it is certainly not enough to say, “Build Back Better.” What kind of bizarre slogan is that?
