I think when you, Marianne, say Left," u r referring 2 Dems. That is a major error. It's this Right Wing vs that Right Wing.

The GOP establishment still thinks populism is an F bomb & the Dem. establishment is in full agreement. The problem with DC is the word ESTABLISHMENT.. Perennial leaders that fail, Obstruct, succeed & then fail again. The problem is the same people making the same bad choices.

What are your thoughts about why about 50% of eligible voters actually don't vote? Have they been squeezed out by centrist policies that never seem to actually solve the problems? I think the parties feel it's easier to win elections competing for just 50% of potential voters.
