The countries safely re-opening their schools are countries that have gotten the virus under control. We clearly have not. Our children and teachers should not be guinea pigs in a risky experiment yet school districts are being told they won’t receive money if they don’t re-open.

can I remind you again that Sweden didn’t lockdown at all an the schools remained open throughout.. there was NO issue with children! The evidence is more if schools don’t go back thered will be a negative social and mental impact on the Children

Why is that in the public health interest? It seems to me that what’s in the public health interest is to contain this virus, not create new situations where it can be spread. Think of pics of beaches we’ve seen that turned out to be super spreaders. That’s what schools will be.
