Karen Bass in 2010 at a ribbon-cutting for a Scientology church: "That is why the words are exciting of your Founder L. Rob Hubbard...The Church of Scientology I know has made a difference, because your creed is a universal creed and one that speaks to all people everywhere"

Chairwoman of the largest speaker assembly in the country, Chair of the CBC, physician assistant, and badass single mom is out of contention to be VP because of a speech....? Really??

Scientology is really bad. They aren’t just kooks, they’ve really hurt people. I don’t want anyone quack-adjacent in the WH. No anti-vaxxers, no QAnon. Democrats need to institute zero-tolerance on this. We’ve already lost one party to it.

I mean I get it 100%. But we also did just nominate a guy who eulogized storm Thurmond who ran for president on a racial segregation, but we forgave Biden (rightfully so!) just seems like we don’t extend the same forgiveness to women, especially someone as legit badass as bass

Maybe if I were totally sold on Bass I’d dismiss it, but it just feels different to me. This isn’t controversial, it’s nutty, and I feel like that’s much worse. We need to stop tolerating ppl like Marianne Williamson. We have an epidemic of crazy in this country.

We need to stop “tolerating people like Marianne Williamson” ??? What we need to stop “tolerating” is self-righteous, ignorant, condescending, bigoted commentary by someone who would casually mock someone who they clearly know nothing about.

Lol you ran for president. You were on the national debate stage. You're definitely not someone we "clearly know nothing about." It's not a casual mock, I'd say pretty legit. No more crazy in this country.

You’re right, I did run for president. But you’re wrong to think you know much of anything about me. Smears smear. And no more “crazy” in this country? What do you want to do, put people you think are “crazy” away somewhere? That’s an age old misogynistic trope, by the way.

I’m a woman. There’s too much crazy in America. I am not saying you yourself are crazy. I’m saying you promote crazy things that hurt other people. You really need to stop trying politics. Go back to writing bs self help books and hanging out with Oprah.

When you promote wanky beliefs, you should not be given a platform. You said a lot of good things about reparations and education but you are wasting your credibility by chasing stupid things and at some point you need not be tolerated

Lol I don't I don't want to put crazy away anywhere, I just don't want them anywhere close to a position of power. Feel free to practice your crazy on your own

These pitiful labels are an insult to intelligent debate. What s crazy is attacking another person with them.
Also, your fake accent is pretentious as hell. You claim to connect people with the universe, and you can’t even be authentic about your diction.
