Real democracy is better; we just need to repair ours because it’s very, very broken. It’s America that needs a pro-democracy movement. The solution to corporate control is not state control. The solution is an awakening of the people.

I mean, they’re not opposite concepts though. Communism, some would argue, is the maximum expression of democracy. But perhaps that’s a debate for the future.
