The reasons and methods are obvious: In schooling we are taught to receive, remember, recall and carry out instructions from only authorised sources. The true alternative is we that are taught HOW to think using understanding gained from mediated experience as our authority.

Is that why leftists destroy education. Where Democrats run schooling education is rare. Democrats are more interested in indoctrination than education.
