Being an anarchist is not actually illegal. Being an agitator is not actually illegal. Trying to use either one of those characterization as a reason for denying people their rights - THAT is what’s illegal.

I think some are and others are peaceful - I’ve seen some pretty violent looking footage and heard about shootings at the protests and while I know many are well-intentioned, and I understand the outrage, I do wonder if this is the best way to incite change.
