Being an anarchist is not actually illegal. Being an agitator is not actually illegal. Trying to use either one of those characterization as a reason for denying people their rights - THAT is what’s illegal.

A few people looted & tried to set fires. That’s criminal behavior & should be dealt with by local police. If they wanted help from feds, they could ask. Feds coming in & pepper spraying, teargassing, shooting people with rubber bullets has caused more violence, not quelled it.
