All great religious teachings of the world telling a universal story. Life begins w/ goodness & peace, devolves into chaos & destruction, then goodness & peace return. Look at chaos but don’t dwell on it. Look at the goodness on the other side & know it’s your duty to invoke it.

Dear Ms Marianne, what you said is in the Hindu scriptures as four stages of civilization starting from Satya Yuga down to Kali Yuga, which is where we're at now. Ancient Greece had the same four stages: Golden, Silver, Bronze and Iron. All descending. And then repeating 1/

I’m reminded of MLK’s last sermon in Memphis. It’s a testament to this vision of goodness. The goodness on the other side. This goodness can be seen more easily through service. Oriented by service towards humanity is the greatest tool towards imagining a more beautiful future.
