Donald Trump is lying. Voting by mail is safe and legitimate. We cannot and will not let this authoritarian criminal delay our election, undermine our democracy, and silence the American people.

AG Barr has been repeating false conspiracy theories peddled by the President to cast doubt on voting-by-mail. The President has voted by mail and so has AG Barr. When I asked him if he had any evidence to back up these claims, Barr said, under oath, “no.”

I have been voting by mail for years in San Diego County. Even if I had wanted to vote in person, I couldn't unless I drove to the Registrar's office since we have not had enough people to justify a polling place for the last eight years. I drop my ballot off at the library.

Please stop amplifying Trump's efforts to distract us. Rather than reacting in anger or fear to what he or his minions say (or to others' reactions), what would it take to ensure the safety and integrity of our elections, regardless of anything he or anyone does to interfere?

Absentee voting is already legal. The new standard of "vote by mail" is not.
