What the feds are doing in Portland is so rotten. They’re not protecting the courthouse; they’re protecting an oppressive system of thought, an essentially undemocratic force that simply cannot stand the fact that the will of the people isn’t going their way.

And then they came out seemingly unprovoked and gassed everyone with this new tool that looks like a leaf blower that pushes gas. #FedsOutOfPortland

Yes. The goal is to suppress and discourage protests. Continued protests are making the rulers uncomfortable.

You really want something in that Courthouse Destroyed—what do you have to gain?

Well Marianne now that the Feds are "gone". Gov/Mayor who are "blue" just kicked out all the protesters, volunteers, and homeless out at 5:45am. Had the police 'raid' it and took all their stuff. I went there today and saw very depressed sad faces just looking at their home burn

Should we just let them burn it Marianne? After it is burned then what. Will it all stop? What the hell is your solution?

Are you describing the DNC’s handling of the last 2 primaries?

So if the Feds were to leave and allow the terrorists to destroy and burn the federal court, then what? What would be achieved?
Replying to @marwilliamson
I don't remember voting to burn down the Federal courthouse in Portland, Oregon. Please stop protecting democracy for me.

A longtime LAPD SWAT sergeant has filed a whistleblower lawsuit alleging the unit is controlled by a “SWAT Mafia” of veteran cops who encourage the use of deadly force and call members who attempt de-escalation "cowards" (via @LAcrimes): latimes.com/california/story…
