No, what’s “critically important” is that our children be safe.
It is critically important for our public health to open schools this fall. CDC resources will help parents, teachers and administrators make practical, safety-focused decisions as this school year begins. bit.ly/39RLWS8

You are right ... Trump is thinking that if a few hundred children get sick ... that's fine ... since the only people who will ultimately suffer ... will be their Grandparents ... and that's not a problem ... because if they die ... it will simply save ... on Social Security.

The first promise of school to its students is, "we will not kill you, nor your families". The "common sense" response to the chance of schools arming students with potentially lethal microscopic pellets, to distribute randomly among themselves, their families, is to avoid it!😱

So food insecurity Increase in suicide Increase in child abuse Childcare problems... All cool with you for a disease where deaths of kids under 18 is virtually zero.

Do more teachers need to die? What about child's psyche when Grandma dies from child bringing home COVID? Shut down long enough so schools can open safely! Those pushing this care nothing for teachers or children. It is difficult for some parents, but many don't want the risk.
