“Performative” is the trendy new word. But the president is not “performing;” he & Barr & Wolf are staging a very real neo-fascist attack on our democracy. It’s the neo-liberal establishment that’s “performing,” complaining about how awful it is but continuing to fund his efforts

Rioters, you’ll want to stop attacking Federal Property if you want to return to the old status of domination over your Democrat city governments. Either way, you are BIGLY energizing Trump’s base to vote.

I feel like the Dems put on a huge show with things like impeachment (which they obviously knew Senate Repubs would kill), but low key support the 1% and their donors. I sure dont see them passing Medicare4all....

Can't mention their attack on democracy without acknowledging the enabling/normalizing that the msm has done.

Disturbingly trendy, especially for somebody with grammar-nazi tendencies like me. "Performative" as a type of statement contrasted with "constative." Constative speech is 1A protected, whereas performative speech isn't always - eg, calling "Fire!" in a crowded theater.

When dems create a circus and do not allow a fair exchange of questions and answers ie. Barr, their credibility goes in the toilet.
