So much concern about the safety & security of a courthouse, yet so little concern about safety & security of our people. From evictions to Covid to lack of health ins to police repression, the citizens of the USA are pawns in a war over whether or not our democracy will survive.
Acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf says governor of Oregon's tweet claiming federal forces will imminently leave Portland is false: "We are not leaving Portland until we are assured that that courthouse is safe & secure. We will continue to keep law enforcement officers in the area."

Our people work in and live around the federal building that is being vandalized and burned. Not safe.

When ideas like property having a higher value than people gets espoused/expressed it also generally means that the person/institution espousing these ideas also believes that people are essentially a form of property. The term 'human resources' should upset any free thinker.

Thank you for always giving voice to the ACTUAL suffering going on. All of this focus on “property damage” makes me sick.

Where are all the fiscal conservatives on this issue. It's gotta be costing some serious change to keep an small army on the payroll to protect - most likely - insured buildings. What a waste of $$$!

And a battle for who runs the government I’d suggest, a few rich and powerful trying to increase their privilege or the majority with much less - the rest of us. Shouldn’t a real democracy represent everyone and not just a select few?

We are in the upside down and we need strong LEADERSHIP to recover. To recover truth, trust, ethics and integrity to governance. We are at the most important and crucial crossroads in American history. VOTE.
