Over-policing is a collective form of toxic masculinity. Over-Militarizing is a romanticizing of abuse. Submitting to either is learned helplessness in the face of evil.

And destruction of public and private property is illegal. People who do illegal things are criminals, not protesters.

No one disagrees with that. The problem is, the vast majority of people at these protests are doing neither yet they too are being harmed.
