That more outrage is expressed over “damaged property” than has been expressed over damaged lives embodies the moral vacuity of our society today. We’re told we don’t have the $ we’d need to assuage people’s suffering, yet how magically it appears if they dare to step out of line

compassion , empathy , and humanity seems to be in short supply or even missing in those with the most power, status, wealth methinks. Money seems to be what is valued over hearts and souls. We the people have that humanity, love and compassion. We just have little to no voice

It’s not so much that we don’t have a voice as that we have chosen not to use it for so long. There has been a chronic political disengagement of a part of too many, particularly when it comes to voting. It will make a huge difference when we change that hopefully on November 3.

but it's also caused by the fact that our mainstream news media isn't covering a lot of news that should be covered . The masses don't even know half of what is going on in our country let alone over seas! The manufacturing of consent is a real problem!!

I highly recommend reading Noam Chomsky's book "Manufacturing of Consent" if you haven't. youtube.com/watch?v=34LGPIXv…

Without TRUTH to the masses, there is no LIGHT. Without LIGHT there is no UNITY. We need Unity of humanity to rise up in the name of compassion and love of all people and the world.

Many at the top have not experienced real struggle ever in their lives... They have no idea how beautiful and kind hearted we the people are. Homeless people, the disabled like myself, the voiceless. i think you are also a beautiful soul marianne. An angel of humanity!

for many they think money will fill the hole they have within them. it won't. What feeds my soul is uplifting and helping others. It uplifts me .

The majority of Americans have that compassion for others it’s just that we haven’t expressed it and haven’t stepped up to do anything about the situations and people who choose to live without compassion! We the people can and will change the outcome by voting on 11/3. Love wins
