So in your opinion, the federal government should allow the federal courthouse to be burned down?

The local government shouldn’t allow it. The state government shouldn’t allow it. And if they needed help, they had a legal right to call in the National Guard and ask for help. Do you think the federal troops going into those cities is doing anything more than creating violence?

Youre right, but the local and state have told their police to stand down. So the feds alternative is to allow courthouses to burn, or to uphold the law and protect them, using federal officers (not troops btw). You disagree with that decision, prefer to allow them to burn?

Graffiti on a courthouse is a tiny fraction of the problem in this country compared to what the coronavirus is doing to us. Yet we’re spending a fraction of the resources on fighting coronavirus that we’re spending to fight people who would put graffiti on a federal courthouse.

Graffiti? The rioters have spent over a month trying to burn the courthouse down nightly. They are aiming lasers at the officers eyes. Would you like to see the videos? Youre entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts.

And yet they did not burn the courthouse down, because local law-enforcement was handling the problem. The crowds had dwindled. If the mayor had wanted federal help he could have asked for it. He didn’t, because it wasn’t needed. It has not helped; it has exacerbated the problem.
