1) We're in the middle of what's essentially an authoritarian takeover of the United States. Democratic Party leadership has completely underperformed, mounting an ineffective opposition to Trump's illegal behavior - even now doing as much to acquiesce as to oppose it.

3) At this point it's a very good idea for prayerful people to pray, meditators to meditate & all well-intentioned Americans to follow your heart, stay informed, summon courage & stand up for our democracy. Vote Blue on Nov. 3 as though your life depended on it, because it might.

Democrats are way too complacent. Both Democrats and Republicans increase funding for the military constantly. And Republicans claim they hate socialism but stand idly by as our government helps out the rich with our tax dollars. Socialism for the rich.
